A little about me...

You must be bored now...

picture o' me

Let's see...as of Aug 2005, I work as a software enginner for Audience in Silicon Valley. I've also worked for Brocade, Terran Interactive and Heuris. I live in San Jose with my wife and my almost-2-year-old son. We're expecting our second kid soon, so I'm expecting any scrap of "me time" I get will soon vanish.

My father was an A-10 pilot in the Air Force, so we lived everywhere from Panama to Alaska when I was a kid. I spent most of high school near Fairbanks, Alaska (Eielson AFB), but finished up at Redlands HS in southern California.

From southern California, I trotted off to college at Washington University in St. Louis and got my BS in Computer Science. While a Kappa Sigma there, I was introduced to my favorite bar of all time, Blueberry Hill. I played a lot of darts there (...and I mean a whole lot), so it shouldn't be a shock that I met my wife there playing darts.

Anyway, I lived in St. Louis for about 10 years before I convinced my wife to move to Silicon Valley and marry me. (St. Louis doesn't exactly have a hopping job scene for computer programmers.) Along with my wife, I did bring with me my love for St. Louis sports and still follow the Cardinals, Rams & Blues religiously.

I like spending my free time (as if I have much of it) hanging out with my friends and family, mountain biking, playing piano, watching movies or just generally enjoying everything northern California has to offer.

I guess I need one last tidbit to satisfy the curiosity gods...um...ok, my birthday is 3/16/72, so I think that makes me a Pisces. (that's good 'cause I like Phish!)
